Welcome to the SLANZA reading website
This website is maintained by the School Library Association of New Zealand Aotearoa (SLANZA), to share information and news related to reading with our members, with school librarians, teachers and students.
The site contains reading lists that bring together information shared by school library teams, teachers, suggestions via the School Library email list and the Secondary English email list.
Forms are available on every list page for readers to suggest titles or comment on a title. A member of our team will repond to these emails to let you know what's happened with your suggestion.
Whilst every effort has been made to include appropriate books for the year level lists, this is a subjective thing. Please use your professional knowledge when recommending books. When recommending books please ensure you choose books which are currently in print.
